Ken Conklin – Short Stay Solutions Managing Director
Ken is the Owner and Managing Director of Short Stay Solutions and its affiliate company Short Stay Florida. He brings with him over 30 years of experience in hospitality services, marketing, property management, & real estate sales. He has spent the majority of his career in the hospitality segment of the real estate industry; marketing and managing luxury boutiques and large brand-affiliated hotels.
Ken began his career at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City and has been honored as a Distinguished Alumni of that organization. He achieved his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University and a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University. He has been featured in INC. & Lodging magazines for his work in destination experience marketing and branding. His training and experiences in the hospitality industry is evident in the superior levels of service that differentiate our client’s properties from the competition.
Cole Plachter – Short Stay Group, Nizz Realty Inc Team Leader
Cole is a licensed Realtor® and Team Leader of The Short Stay Group, Nizz Realty Inc. His total focus is on acquiring vacation rental investment properties in the Fort Lauderdale market for our clients. He started his real estate career in Philadelphia working with Coldwell Banker. He also worked as a vacation rental specialist at Short Stay Florida which gave him the practical experience needed to know what properties will become successful vacation rental assets. Cole truly understands what to look for in the property and what will differentiate the property in the market.
He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and Temple University's Fox School of Business where he studied both economics and marketing. Cole has a mission to deliver results that exceed expectations assuring that our clients will acquire properties that will bring a positive return on their investment. Cole is a trustworthy resource to our clients and will do the due diligence & analysis that will assure our clients are making an educated investment and getting the best possible property that is available in the market.

Philippe Lespagnol – Short Stay Solutions Team Member
Philippe is a licensed Realtor and works with our international & seasonal rental clients. He also works on the customer experience team at Short Stay Florida. Philippe was born and raised in Paris, France, and graduated from Lycee Prive d’Avesnieres with a degree in tourism, economics, and linguistics. Philippe started his career in the United States in customer service as a Personal Shopper for Nordstrom. Philippe transitioned from luxury retail to luxury residential property management where, in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, Philippe managed the top three luxury condo buildings, generating over $24 million in sales and multiple customer service awards. His passion is customer service which is evident from the moment you meet him.
